The abbreviation "MAMP" stands for: Macintosh, Apache, Mysql and PHP. With just a few mouse-clicks, you can install Apache, PHP and MySQL for Mac OS X! MAMP installs a local server environment in a matter of seconds on your Mac OS X computer, be it PowerBook or iMac. Like similar packages from the Windows- and Linux-world, MAMP comes free of charge. MAMP is installed in the typical Mac fashion: very easily. MAMP will not compromise any existing Apache installation already running with your OS X. You can install Apache, PHP and MySQL without starting a script or having to change any configuration files! Furthermore, if MAMP is no longer needed, it is sufficient to delete the MAMP folder and everything returns to its original status (i.e. MAMP does not modify any of the "normal" OS X).
I just came across MAMP - I've seen LAMP before, but MAMP will be perfect for doing quick offline editing of blogs and other web apps. Check it out if you want to save yourself some time with setup and configs

Moo.com has been around for a while, I'm late to the game but I saw one of their free cards deals lately and had to try it out. For $7 shipping, I got to put 50 of my images on cards and the reverse side has all my info. Very cool, very (almost) free. The free cards also have a little bit of advertising along the edge and a coupon code for a discount in case your friends like them and want to order their own.
Rather than just a card, you get one of my favorite photos. The card quality is very good - thick and heavy. I'd definitely order another set for paying.Next time you see me, be sure to ask for one.

Here's a clip of one of the Tornados that touched down just north of Toronto in an area called Vaughn. Where's Vaughn you asked? If you've ever been to Canada's Wonderland, that's where Vaughn is. Further south towards the lake where I live, we didn't get the tornado, just very high winds, hard rain and an amazing lightning storm.

I've looked like a shoe addict lately with all these shoes arriving, but this should be the end of it. No more for another while.
These Jordans are so sweet. Tough to actually wear them. Like a good stock, should I hold and resell later when the prices and demand go up? Supply is low and hard to find. I think I'm going to have to wear them, but only on special days. If you see me out and around wearing these, you can bet it's a good day.Comments [0]
This is why I love the UFC. It's so crazy how good Anderson Silva is. I thought Forrest was going to give him some challenge with his bang-it-out brawling style. Anderson taunted him a bit, got him fired up so that he'd just come in swinging rather than being tactical - game plan out the window. Anderson is so fast and sharp that he can wander around unprotected with his hands down and pick his pinpoint shots. As Forrest himself said, "this guy makes good dudes look bad". Add another one to the list. I still really like Forrest and was hoping he'd get the upset, but it's hard to compare the two fighting skills.

Gotta love eBay shopping. The only thing hard about it is the wait. I got these Nike Air Max 90 Premium (UTT PFG Barnstormers) for a serious discount over what I paid for my last pair of 90 Premiums.
Shortly after these were bought and paid for, a pair of rare Jordan IV's came up in my autosearch and I couldn't pass them up. I bid on the Jordans and won them for $86. Compare that to the $190 + tax the local shoe shop was charging.
What's your favorite eBay purchase?
